Develop, prototype, and test reference designs of optics for illumination products employing large area Luminus LEDs and support development of reference designs for LCD BLUs
- Lead the design and development color of mixing and beam shaping optics for RGB and RGB+ luminaires.
- Manage vendors and partners in developing optics for Luminus large area LED modules.
- Collaborate in development of test and characterization stations for LEDs, optics and backlight units.
- Work with other design engineers in design and fabrication of proof-of-concept and development prototypes of a wide range of lighting and display products.
- Lead/manage small design and prototype projects.
