Key leadership position driving next-generation product development. Develop encapsulated large chip LED products and bring to manufacturing with a team of functional managers and engineers. Products will be a key portion of the Luminus Solid State Lighting portfolio.
- As Program Manager for the new product introduction process, responsibilities will include developing program plans and budgets, building prototypes, coordinating creation and documentation of detailed designs and processes compatible with high volume manufacturing and conducting design verification and product qualification.
- Minimum qualifications are a Masters or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, materials science, chemistry, physics or a related discipline; 5+ years of industry experience with optoelectronic devices and packaging; understanding of optoelectronic package design principles; and demonstrated program management and new product introduction experience.
- Experience with silicone encapsulation of HB-LEDs is a plus.
