The Metallization Technician is responsible to carry out sputter deposition and electroplating of thin metal films for process development of next generation LEDs.

As the metallization technician, working under the direction of Process Engineers, responsibilities include, performing basic measurements to characterize films (eg. thickness, stress, adhesion, resistivity, composition) and support other process engineering efforts.

minimum qualifications are a A.S. in an engineering or scientific discipline as well as experience with metal deposition equipment and characterization techniques.

Experience with LED device testing such as LIV, far field, thermal resistance, uniformity, and other aspects of test engineering is a plus.
