Designed with LED lighting in mind, the PhlatLight®Color Series product line combines advanced chip level design and innovative packaging concepts to provide industry leading single package light output levels.
With its patented PhlatLight® (Photonic Lattice) technology the Color Series products deliver lumen densities not previously realized from a single LED package. For example, the CBT-120, with its 12 mm2 chip design, can deliver over 2000 lumens (Green at 528 nm) from a single unit. To support this level of performance the PhlatLight® package is designed with thermal management in mind on two levels, the first being high thermal conductivity architecture and the second being an on-board thermistor that can be used to monitors the LED’s operating temperature.
Designed for flexibility, the PhlatLight Color Series products can be driven at a low drive current for high efficiency or at a very high drive current for maximum lumen output.
All of these features combined, the Color Series product line provides a wide variety of chip sizes (4 mm2, 5 mm2, 8.5 mm2, 9 mm2 and 12 mm2), colors (Red, Green and Blue) that in the end redefines where and how LEDs can be used in lighting applications.
