As an LED Design
Engineer, you will be responsible for providing design, modeling and process
expertise for a fast growing line of high brightness LEDs. You will work
with a team of process & product engineers to design and qualify the next
generation(s) of high brightness, high efficiency semiconductor light sources.
Responsibilities will
include device characterization, device modeling, statistical analysis, coordinating designed experiments
from epi forwards to packaged devices, and specification
of test conditions. In addition you will drive performance improvements to
match product roadmap requirements and present details to both technical and
non-technical audiences.
Qualifications for the
position include PhD degree in a related field, and 1-3 yrs relevant device
design experience in industry. Preferred candidates will have a previous
track record with statistical data analysis, design of experiment techniques,
III-V LED manufacturing, design of vertical emission semiconductor optical systems
and MOCVD epitaxial growth & characterization techniques.
