Luminus Devices and Avnet Electronics Marketing Asia Announce LED Distribution Agreement for Asia

 

Beijing and Billerica, MA, U.S. – May 26, 2010 – Luminus Devices, developer and manufacturer of PhlatLight® LEDs, and Avnet Electronics Marketing Asia, part of the global technology distributor Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), today announced a partnership through which Avnet Electronics Marketing will distribute Luminus PhlatLight LEDs to customers in Asia.  EBV Elektronik, an Avnet company, distributes Luminus’ products throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  Avnet also represents Luminus in the Americas.

 

Avnet Electronics Marketing Asia will provide comprehensive distribution services, design-chain services and supply-chain optimization solutions to help Luminus’ customers accelerate product development for a variety of general illumination and specialty lighting applications.
